Hi can any one put me on to a website guide for the WA vehicle inspection standards.
Or tell me what they like to fail these on.
Do bikes need mirrors as mine have been broken in transit.
Do they need indicators or is it only from a certain date??
Back in UK I knew certain dates meant certain liberties could be taken such as brake light switch either or front brake not particulary both.
Any info would be appreciated.
Tyre depth 1mm or 1.5mm???

How stringent are they???

As your Bandit was sold here it will require the same functional bits as our bikes do.

Try here for info http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/

You bike will need mirrors and indicators. I'm guessing you are bringing your bike in as a personal import and not a gray import. I had no problems with my bike, it was standard, other than an after market can. Make sure your bike has all the usual stuff (lights, mirrors, brake lights, horn etc) , it's got good tyres and clean. When mine went through Regency (in Adelaide), they sent me paper work with all the criteria the bike had to meet before the inspection. You'll be right mate, just follow the paper work and no probs cheers
