exhaust advice
Hi everyone, I would like to get a new exhaust for my 2008 bandit and would like some advise. I would really like to buy a staintune but with a price tag of $700 my wife almost changed the locks on the house when I told her. I do like delkevic exhaust but don't know much about them. I am on a budget as I live in a house packed to the rafters. can anyone give me some advice?

The guys will have to advise you on this issue, as I dont suffer from penis envy, err, exhaust envy...
In my house, it's usually the husband who wants to change the locks, as I usually tell him the price AFTER the fact....

I don't think I suffer from exhaust envy. I do like the standard exhaust but it is heavy & I would just like something with a good sound without being too loud.

No I live in Sydney. another member has a delkevic for sale and I have read the review by solomonkane. The one for sale is 350mm long but I don't know if it will be too short

My Beowulf penis extension is 380mm.
350mm will be fine. I'd go shorter if I replaced it too.

Re: exhaust advice
thanks heaps everybody for the advise. I will let you know what I decide to do. I have found my bandit is awesome and it gets more awesomer every time I ride it.

Re: exhaust advice
I had the same feelings about the staintune as you, that price ouch! then I was lucky to grab a secondhand one from a fellow forum member who was offloading some of his accessories when he sold his bike.
I'm sure you'll be more than happy with any of the well known brands

Re: exhaust advice
as I've mentioned in other threads (in case I'm getting boring ) I bought an 06 with a short-arse delkevic on it.
Seems to pull alright, got measured at local dyno at 122hp too with stock everything else....
I have heard that there may be quality control issues with some of them, but mine seems fine.
Also loud and nice sound, but not TOO loud.
I reckon for the money they seem a pretty good addition.
