I have a 2011 1250 FA and I am running a 320 mm Delkevic tri-oval carbon fiber exhaust and I was curious if anyone was running a similar setup? If so, I was wondering if I could get a copy of the fuel map you are running? I am running a FI tuner, I am using the North America map for an aftermarket exhaust and I have been trying to tweak it for my setup.

Do you still need some maps for the FI Tuner Pro.

I have around 8 maps for various setups, but mostly with the CAT and O2 sensor removed with non stock headers.

I ended up going to a dyno center and had a custom map made, but thanks through.

But curious, are you also using the same fuel tuner? If so, how do you like it?

My experience of the GSF 1250 has been difficult as I have only have it running right in the last few days after I did the fuel pump fix. Before that I had a real lack of power above 5000 rpm at higher throttle positions. At first I though this was because of a bad fuel trim map or faulty FI Tuner, but it was a bloked fuel filter that was the problem. I tried so many different maps for about 2 months and nothing would get it runing right, but everything is good now.

I've never owned a power commander so can't compare the FI Tuner Pro to that. The only other tuner I have is a motec, which is on a 180 BHP ZXRR 1000cc. The bike was dynoed before I bought it and I've never felt any need to adjust the fuel map, so its like its not even there really.

I live in a part of the world where there are no dynos, so editing maps and tuning by feel is the only way to go. I think the FI Tuner Pro is very easy in this respect and I also like the fact I can load 2 maps and compare when out on a ride. Now I have the bike running correctly the FI Tuner Pro is doing all I ask from it. The install was easy too. I think apart from getting a PCV with auto tune, I would never need to change from the FI Tuner Pro, and I'm not convinced I need auto tune, so I think its a keeper.

How have you found yours.

I have owned my FI Tuner for the past 5 months but so far I am very happy with it. The price was spot on and the installation was a breeze. I installed a slip-on and noticed that after the install the bike was not running optimal so I was only interested in a basic fuel tuner and this product definitely satisfied my needs.

Also the fellow who dynoed my bike was impressed with the product. Said it responded well when he was changing the various cell values, it did exactly what he wanted it to do when he was dialing in the fuel map.
