I have run 91 since new but filled with 96 today. Not sure I will notice much.
What you guys reckon?

17 รท 2.4 = 7.08 lt/hundred

Re: Best fuel to run
Ok since this thread started I have done an experiment just satisfy my own curiosity.
My Bandit is doing 400km a week at the moment. Thats a rural open road commute of 40km each way.
I can categorically state that for me and my Bandit (31,000km) 98 does not get me any further on a tank than 91 (Caltex branded outlet with Indians running it) I cant get 95 anywhere in Sale without it containing E10
On 98 it may idle a little smoother but it doesn't seem to equate to any measurable distance per tank.
Your results may vary depending on a host of things including altitude and state of tune.

Re: Best fuel to run
I put exactly 14.7 litres of diesel into my Beemer F800GS once. It got me exactly 2.3 km before it spluttered and died. Diesel is overrated I reckon. After getting a lift home in a ute and flushing out of the system, removing the injectors etc and changing plugs the GS ran ultra smooth. That was 30,000km ago.
I mostly run 95 in the Bandit for no particular reason whatsoever. Bike ran out of warranty last week, secondaries coming out soon....

the issue with E10 won't be apparent for some time. Basically overtime it'll eat the rubber/plastic bits in your fuel system.

Re: Best fuel to run
I have invariably found that in whatever vehicle I test, I get sufficiently better mileage from 98 to more than offset the extra cost over 91. ie: it actually
works out cheaper per km to run 98 than 91. Any other benefits are a free bonus. What more reasoning do you need?
