If its been written off here in nsw, it can't legally be re regd even as a repairable write off now.
We have to find out if the insurance co are going to come to the party with my sons car. It has rear left quarter damage after someone backed into it! The panel alone is just over $900!

The grey 1250s has bent front forks which probably means headstem damage. It has fallen on its RHS and may have broken the fairing as well. The motor and rear end might be OK. The radiator would be worth buying if its good if you can get it for $300 or less.

I would like to get a headlight from a B1250.
I want to do a full HID Projector retro fit, But don't want fuck with mine in case I break it. i think It's about $500 for a new one.
But trying to get one cheap is not easy.

The forks do look bent on the 1250S but the front wheel looks ok.
but all the little bits like the seat for anyone wanting to remodel it, and the tank looks ok too, centre stand (I had one fail on a gpz900r once).
rubbers on the foot pegs.
this bike only had 24910kms on the clock.

Not sure if the tanks ok, by the look of the second picture, the way the light falls on it the handle bar might have been pressed into it.

They are three different bikes in the photos.

Just for future reference, if anyone comes across a 1250 with straight front forks I'm after a set (or even just a right one).

He's made a couple of new leading link front ends for Bandit sidecar rigs. As you can see below he doesn't use any of the front forks so I bet there's a set or two you could grab pretty cheap.

Barry, is that an LED strip on the hand guard? I did something similar but they were cheap LEDs and water got in and one failed quite rapidly, so I am after something half decent.

Dang my lousy eyesight! But do a couple of those 'wrecks' still have a frame for panniers on them? One looks like it could take a Ventura top bag. I would be interested in getting pannier frames at a bargain price if they were any good. Lots of good stuff around for the Bandit, but I have a next to nil budget as a lowly self-funded retiree Sad
