First NSW ride!!

First topic message reminder :

Pretty busy over the next few weeks. But ive finally made a date for the first NSW chapter.

DATE: 26th September
MEETING: Will be at 0900. Please let me know where people live, so we can decide on a meeting point.
ROUTE: Putty Road. Singleton Pub for lunch.

I don't know you haven't seen my bike in the flesh, it looks better in the pictures (the good news for you guys is 90,000 km and still going strong.

Anyway if you guy's head North I can do the ride in reverse and wave to you as we pass

Yeah sounds good, the first ride would be good to have as many as possible so we can get to meet everyone...

All ended up being held up. (Maybe I should re-think that phrase...) Date is pending.

SO, when do we think the new ride day date is going to be.
Hopefully, it will not as windy as today was...

im usually good most weekends so it all depends on those that dont get many weekends off.

It will take forever waiting for a date when everybody can make it. Like i said before, plenty of rides to come, so you arnt going to miss out on the fun.

The ride will be on either saturday 17 or Sunday 18 October.

MEETING: 0830 - 0900 Depart, Macgrath Hill McDonalds
ROUTE: Putty Road. Stop at what used to be the Half Way House. Singleton Pub for lunch. Return the same way, back down the putty.

I was about to post that the 18th will be our first NSW ride.
It has just been braught to my attention that this is phillip island day.
Just want to know if people want to change to another day, or if they are still happy to go riding?

18th is good for me [not going if it's wet though - i cant stand it]

Im not to keen on rain either...and im good for the 18th as well....any other takers?

Bike "should" be back together by then in one form or another. I shall let you know in the next couple of days...

I'm in for the 18th, but like most other posts here, if its raining I'll be staying home.

Ok...so the 18th it is:

MEET: Macgraths Hill Maccas
TIME: Meet for a 0900 departure
ROUTE: Putty Road. Stop at former Half Way House for a break. Singleton Pub or Broke for lunch. Return Via Putty Road again.

If it is raining, or looks like bad weather, we will delay ride to another date that suits most people.

So far, weather is looking tops.
