Hello to all the GSX650F people
Hi
Bought my GSX650F about 6 months ago..........it's an 08 model, had 22k on the clock
Haven't had a bike for quite a few years, my husband bought a VStrom and I really don't like being on the back so thought 'what the heck' it's about time I bought my own bike.
Very happy with my boy, he is very forgiving to someone getting back on a bike after 20 odd years of not riding. Compared to the VStrom, my gixxer is a lot of fun. I think of the VStrom as labrador and my gixxer is a Jack Russell...........
Have made a couple of changes
Another thing I would recommend to someone getting back on a bike after a few years, completed the Intermediate course at HART in St Ives. Mainly braking and cornering but had the instructor give advise for setting up the bike for me.

Have made a couple of changes
- Windscreen - MVR for touring, cuts out buffering at high speed
- Handlebar raisers - I'm 177cm and found that I needed this so I was sitting in a better position for touring
- Adjusted the front brake lever down about .5 cm
