Another putty run (2nd May)

We have a putty ride planned in a few weeks. But my other group i go riding with are doing one the weekend before ours. I cant say no to a putty ride, so ill be doing this one as well. All of you are welcome

Meeting Place: McGraths Hill McDonalds, Windsor Road
Meet: 8:30am
Depart: 9:00am

Route: Windsor Rd, Wilberforce Rd, Putty Rd aka Singleton Rd. Regroup at Halfway House Colo River. Putty Rd then Mibrodale Rd to Broke for lunch and refuel. Back down Putty Rd, regroup Halfway House. Coffee, fuel, regroup Colo roadhouse. Last stop Maccas McGraths Hill.

A very subtle BUMP

I've got some maintenance to do and I if I don't get it done friday night then I need to do it saturday. If its done early saturday I might to try to catch up at Broke.

I'm hoping to get out for a ride tomorrow, might be able to meet up at broke.

I'm a dill .. sunday is the 2nd May .. glad I didn't go all the way to Broke today then.

Managed to join the scrum at Halfway roadhouse, and finally met Cameron, that's 3 of you guys so far! Hopefully we can organise a weekend away with bikes and pub and really socialise.

I'm hoping to get a ride in next Saturday, so if we get a good turn-up I can meet some more.

It was great riding weather today, fingers crossed for next Saturday.

I will soon post up a topic to disscuss an overnight stay when summer turns up again. so that will give us plenty of time to organise.

Unfortunately, there was an incident on the way home. My mate from work, Matt on the little NSR150, came down in the first few corners of the 16k bends.
I was up front, so i didnt see it. apparently he ran wide on a corner and came into contact with the guardrail. He went over the top.
Good news is the bike isnt so bad. Bad new is Matt broke is leg and was airlifted out. But he will be ok.

anyway, other than that it was a good ride. hopefully the weather will be good for the ride next saturday. and hopefully i will get some new tyres on before then.

Got an update on matt today.
He broke his left femur and left arm. He was in operation for about 5 hours today.
He is doing well, and said that it hasnt turned him off riding.
