Putty Run on the 14th

Route: Pacific Hwy to Broke. Down Putty.

Organised my a mate of mine with another group i go riding with. All are welcome.

I'm going too - hope the weather is good. are we meeting at the mobil or pits?

AYE .. unless something gets in my way, my tyres are getting to the stage where I need new ones, and the 12k service .. up for some money me thinks.

I'm keen for a ride if the weather isn't too foul.
Can you give me an approximate schedule so I can work out where I can intercept you.
I'm thinking I can pick you up at the central coast, go to Broke then turn back at halfway house.

Im not quite sure which way we will be going - i presume thru wollombi but i dont know if we will go thru peats ridge where you trun left halfway along OPH or keep going to the end and then turn left. do you want to come down to the mobil and then go back to broke?

any other bandits coming??????

weather isnt looking to good. if the sun isnt shining in the morning, i wont be heading out. ive had enough rain over the last few weeks.

But i havnt done the putty in a while. so maybe ill do it next weekend if anybody is up for it? Recycled? when are you free, we finally need to meet you i think

Will you be going through Kulnurra, and about what time?

I've been on 4 weeks holiday so no doubt next weekend I will be on call-out duty

i guess so but i am not sure what time - 10am or 10.30??

the weather should be OK i think. i wont be going if its raining or looks like its about to - i spent yonks cleaning the bike and i aint getting it dirty

there looks to be bugger all rain about on the weather radars ... so I'm heading off to Mobil and hopefully we might get a caffeine hit at PITS

It's rained here all night and there is still rain at Wollombi and Putty and heavy rain across Lake Macquarie, I'm going to watch how it unfolds for a while. I was hoping that the rain was moving North and would be largely gone by now!!!!

Weather wasnt looking good out here this morning so i stayed in...ill just have to watch the V8's today. Plus i had a big night last night...mates bday.
ill be busy next sunday, but 2 weekends in a row without riding is having a toll on me. So ill be heading out next saturday for a putty run. ill open a new topic.

we had a good ride today. met PM at Mobil along with the NSW riders, next stop at Kulnura and we met Recycled. We heard north of kulnura was wet so we then retraced our tracks back to PITS, along the way I had a heart stopping moment overtaking a group of cars and the front one then wanted to turn right, I'm really happy with the stopping power of the bandits. After PITS I went home but the others were going for another run up OPH.

Had a good run today, met Steve (Potatomasher) and Barry (Baz), dodged most of the rain, just a few spots.
I was behind Baz when the car turned across his path (heart in mouth moment).

My first visit to PITS pies are good, road would be much better with a realistic speed limit!

I came straight back up the coast and dodged the rain that still seems to be hanging around Wollombi.

Looks like i missed out. Was thinking about heading our for a quicky after lunch. But clouds didnt look good....but not a single drop

it was a good day - our administrator missed a good ride. i tried out baz's gel seat too - very cossetting on the buttocks it is!
