Like putty in your hands... with photos that load now..
Did a run up top the Grey Gums Cafe on the Putty with Peter and Baz from the Suzuki Bandits Australia forum. Hey that's this forum.
All ready to go. Which one should I take?
Peter on his Gen 1 1200 Bandit with Gen 2 engine. Baz on the Sound Lounge R1200 RT BM. We met at Jerrys at Kulnura.
Baz broughts some Chicken Strips with him for lunch.
Some of the bikes at Jerry's...
Rider takes his rat for a ride.
Then headed north to Broke. Left and out past lots of vineyards for sale then onto the Putty. It has been years since I have done the Putty. Through Howels Valley the Road
Gods shone on us and gave us the corners to scrap boots through.
Great meal at Grey Gum Cafe. So many bikes. So many loud Harleys going so slow past the cafe.
Baz and the Sound Lounge.
Peter thought not wearing his jacket would help his mileage. By the time we got back to Broke he had 2 liters of fuel left. Mate that would have got you home.
Some of the bikes at Grey Gums.
It was like a Clint Eastwood western there.
Peter needed fuel so we headed back to Broke. Again the Road Gods smiled down upon me. The Bandit can keep a K1300 at bay and pull away in the corners.

Re: Like putty in your hands... with photos that load now..
Obligatory self portrait on the Putty.
Peter almost running on fumes.
From Broke to just west of Corringbong. Say Goodbye to Peter. Baz and I then did a transport section down the F3. As I turned off at Ourimbah two surf heads cut across at least 2 lanes nearly taking Baz out. They thought it was funny till I zoomed up along side them. They backed off after that. Idiots.
Home, tired and bug splattered nearly 400ksm today.
Thanks Peter and Baz for a great ride.

Like Putty under your wheels :)
I left just after 0800 and got to Kulnurra at 0920, Ross was waiting expectantly but no Baz, he'd changed his breakfast venue but rocked up at 0930.
Bikes assembled at Jerry's Gourmet Kitchen (bit optimistic Jerry )
Good use was made of the twisty bits on the Putty Rd, Ross was a bit "spirited" just before Broke too!
Before Lunch at Grey Gums Cafe on the Putty Rd. which was a bit further South than advertised on Google maps, This upset my fuel calculation a bit, meaning I got back to Broke with 300km on the trip meter and less than 2L in the tank
Edit: oops sorry Mr Maps, I forgot to recalculate after I changed my route to meet at Kulnurra instead of Wollombi
A couple of gentlemen taking their easy on the veranda.
Grey Gums
Thanks for a good ride.

How did you attach them Ross? I'm not even seeing image tags when I go to "QUOTE" your post!
Now I see images.
