Racetech fork springs
Im thinking of getting some racetech fork springs. There site says I should be on 1.0 or 1.1 springs. Should I up that if I plan on having a pillion on a lot?

Racetech fork springs
hi NZspokes
I actually brought my Racetech springs from Terry Hay's Shock treatment. They're in Sydney and should be able to post. Give em a call or email.

I fitted 1.1's, they are rather firm at slower speeds but come into their own once the velocity gets up into the higher regions.
They make the bike sit a bit taller, which will give you a little more ground clearance when cranked over......... you're on the brink when you scrape the pegs (track of course)!

Re: Racetech fork springs
if your getting springs,i hope your also getting gold valves to sort out the damping.
springs will hold the weight, but correct damping will contour the road so you have correct control

Gold valves? Is that like having a red powerband fitted.

gold valves are the upgrade from your standard valve and shimming that control your compression and rebound damping.
The rate at which oil passes through them
