Just joined

Hey all
Just joined - have been a lurker here for a number of months due to a severe lack of bandit /gsx1250 stuff in UK
Am an ex v-strom owner (650 to start with then thou) and visited the VSRI site regularly - when I got my 1250 thought there would be an equivalent site - but no... you guys are the best there is! (pls take as a compliment!!).
Cos of here I am awaiting a delivery of renthal ultra low bars...

Here's one for you though - I DID have a lovely beowulf pipe fitted (black warrior) until it melted me f'ing pannier!!! anyone else find that?

Anyway - I thank you for the kind welcome I have received so far (electronic I know, but someone programmed it that way) and extend my best wishes to you all.

Welcome to the forum rosstrom. Had to replace the radiator in my Rover 2600 back in '84 in Edinburgh after driving up from Lincolnshire - no problems though, there was plenty to see and do in the old town.

Welcome rostrom , from your name sounds like you miss your vstrom but seriously how do yo like the bandit , i looked at vstrom as i come from dirt bikes but went for the 1250 , my first thought was to change bars but have decided to live with them for a while and see what happens , my beowolf sounds cool and i use a backpack cos i am a tightass! ( aussie for dont like spending money )

I too have a Beowulf but it runs far cooler than the stocker.
