air pressure gauge

Can anyone recommend a good air pressure gauge ?
I've got an XTECH that cost me $30 and now I find its reading 6psi under .. I suppose I could just take the 6psi into account but really should not have to do that.

IMO for what you need it for, go to supercrap or even Big W and buy a cheepo dial gauge for about $10.
I my experience (and having one checked when getting way more expensive air gear calibrated), they are pretty damb close. the one I have is a max of 4% out across the board.

I read somewhere, years ago (choice?) that the old fashioned Pencil gauge can be as good as anything, and they are compact and rugged, just what you want on a bike, this is the one I have, it works at 90⁰ to the valve which is good on bikes to dodge the brakes etc. some read at different angles that may be awkward on the bike.

I cant remember where I got mine or how long I've had it.

+! on the age old pencil type, they are the most accurate.

thanks guys, seems cheaper is best, even the cheap digital ones would be better than the one I've got now.
