Rdo's Mondays and great weather
Sorry I live so far away, but up here, its going to be 23C on Monday, 24C on Tuesday, so i will have to make the most of it myself, BY myself.
Hope you find someone willing to spend time out on the roads with you.

I may go out by myself as well. However the job i'm doing at home has turned sour and I may need monday to finish it

So bugger working at home on such a nice day like today.
First real long distance ride in months. I can tell you the Sargent Seat lived up to its reputation, no sore arse, but the back aching a little.
From home headed out towards Berwick, Upper Beaconsfield, Cockatoo, Gembrook, Yarra Junction, Powelltown, Noojee, Trafalgar, Mirboo North, Meeniyan, Tarwin Middle, Inverlock, Wonthaggi (via the Cape Paterson rd) Nyora, Lang Lang, then a quick trip up the South Gippsland Hwy to home. Total distance around 400ks.
A quick coffee at the Powelly pub
Overlooking Blue Rock Lake near Willow Grove

That looked like an awesome ride. You can't beat riding on a day like this when everybody else is working!!!
I wish I could have come along. Me and my brother who has just bought a new VFR 800 are planing a ride on Sunday to Walhalla and Thompson Dam. I am hoping for some sunshine. Cheers.

Yes it was a good day. Only part I didn't like was the road between Noojee and Blue Rock Lake. It is sealed but in poor condition. Lots of pot holes & broken edges. And its narrow, wouldn't want to be in a car and meet another coming the other way.
Good luck with the weather on Sunday, at the moment its "morning shower or two". With a bit of luck it will clear up for you.

What a sensational day to clock up some kms.
Hope there will be plenty more before it gets too hot.
When's your next RDO Max? I have a bit of flexibility (no I can't do the splits )

I don't have RDOs as such, I work shift work so I get a lot of days off but the shift pattern is rigid. I'm off the next 3 days but have other plans.

Thanks for the great ride today. We will have to do that one again some time.
I will let you know when we organise the Alpine ride so if you and who ever else wants to come along.
Cheers.

I've been talking to 2WA as I'll be back in Gippsland (Traralgon) on the weekend of 24-25November. We are thinking about resurecting the Healesville bakery ride that we didn't get to do last due to crap weather. Keep the weekend in mind and 2WA will confirm when his schedule is clear. I'm also up for an Alpine ride - just trying to work out some dates. I am thinking of an overnighter in Bright.
