Introducing my 2yo girlfriend
Hey everyone, my names Jason and I have the pleasure of living near one of the best riding roads in Australia.. The oxley highway to Walcha! Here's a little about my bike
2010 Suzuki GSX650F LAMS-now full powered :s
Full power ECU
Fender eliminator
Slip on two bros exhaust
K&N air filter
Led indicators
Vortex Clipon Handlebars
Removed rear handle for pillion
Removed rear foot pegs
Healtech timing retard eliminator
Two bros juicebox pro
Dynotuned making 78hp
I am interested in selling this and upgrading to a more powerful better handling bike as I have now got my full lisence.. Any ideas what price you would put on something like this? Considering it technically is a LAMS bike?

Welcome aboard Jason. For pricing I usually just see what is being sold on bikepoint and the spread of prices. Then you can compare yours (with add ons - but they tend not to realise their initial cost) with others and set your price accordingly. Where there is quite a fewof the same model, you usually find a cluster in the middle of the range with some scattered above and below. Sorting by price is usually a good idea.

Yeh I have looked around but haven't seen any with the modifications similar to the ones I have made. That being said, the full power ecu in a LAMS bike makes it the most valuable LAMS bike on the market surely...even with the 12000 kms that are on it?

Re: Introducing my 2yo girlfriend
It might have been, it might look like, but its technically NOT a Lams bike.
I'm not sure which way you would get more money for it. Sell it as a Lams or sell it as a full powered GSX650F?
I wouldn't think it would be legal to sell it as a Lams with the new ECU in it.
If you have the original ECU sell it as a Lams with the full power ECU thrown in to upgrade it later. The buyer can then do as he/she wishes in that respect.

Its no doubt illegal what I've done, and I wouldn't sell it advertising the fact on a main bike sales type website. The standard LAMS version of this bike is hopelessly underpowered (for obvious reasons) and if you were to be pulled over on this bike as far as the po po are concerned this is a LAMS bike, the fact you got pulled over for going over 200kph might give it away tho lol

I don't think it is illegal to change the ECU to the full powered one. My understanding this is something the dealers promote with that bike. It would however be illegal for you to sell it as a Lams and for the buyer to ride it as a Lams.
Do you still have the original ECU?

Welcome to the forum.
I'll keep out of the legallities but my opinion is you're better off selling it in LAMS spec and then offload the ECU.
It would save a heap of questions.
Dont forget what the price range buys as far as competing bikes bring.
Your other mods wont add much value however.
