Auckland NZ first big ride on Bandit

So a couple of weekends back I took my new Bandit out for a blast.

First stop was Kawakawa Bay just south of Auckland, a pie lost its life there....

Then was down to Kaiaua along the east coast road. Was a great day for riding, not to hot our cold.



By then was getting used to the extra power over my GPZ400r.

After that I rolled down to Miranda and got the chance to open the bike up a bit and see how brave I was. Love the overtaking power of the 1200. From Miranda I headed inland to Mangatawhiri and on to the old state highway. I stopped and text a mate to see if he wanted a jar at the pub in Mercer. It didnt take much to get him there. So 20 mins later we meet for a quiet one and look at the bikes there.



I followed home to Pukekawa then headed out to port Waikato. On the way back I stopped at the Tuakau bridge for a toilet pit stop. Was getting dark by then.



Was a great ride on the new toy, just a couple of hundred ks.

I loves me bike.

Thats not bad photos from my phone, pretty happy with them. i have a minor brain injury which gives me a small tremor and have always had issues taking photos. But the phone camera works well.

The photo in my avatar is from the ad for the bike and I didnt like the colour on it either. In the flesh its much deeper.

Yep, like Paul said, looks better in your ride pics that your avatar pic. Looks very similar in colour to my 06, what year is your one?

2000 English one. But its a K1 model.

Nice one Spokes. Pretty good for a phone cam'.
