Apologies for linking to another forum, but this is a serious issue involving sudden brake line failure, which could have cost this guy his life. Well worth being aware of. His Galfer front lines (ABS bandit) failed suddenly and completely under braking:

I had Galfers on my old GPX 250 and seriously coudl not fault them. Maybe they are getting made in China along with everything else these days

I have Galfers on my Bandit and thankfully they are fine. There are too many variables to see exactly what caused this poor chap's brake failure.
