New Newcastle Bandit Owner
Howdy.
Have just bought my second road bike - a 2010 1250 Bandit, half naked and silver. I've put about 500km on it in the week and a half I've had it.
I sold my first road bike in 1994 before moving overseas to live, work and travel. Came home in the late 90's, got married, had kids, was responsible and a bit boring. Fast forward a decade, and I get divorced, less responsible and entirely less boring.
My first road bike was a 91 VT250F that if I remember right I paid about $4000 for.
The pillion broke her kneecap last week, the day before she was due to get fitted with a helmet. So it's going to be a little while before I get out there with a pillion on board.
Anyway, hopefully I'll be around a bit to glean untold amounts of wisdom from you other bandit owners and more experienced riders.
Cheers
Edit: My bike came with a Staintune muffler fitted (as well as the original to take home) and HotGrips heated handgrips.

Welcome. Good to have another Newcastle rider on board, hopefully at least one of you will join me next time I ride down to meet up with the Sydney guys.
Re: New Newcastle Bandit Owner
Hi Pedr0 and welcome aboard. I have found that bikes are better than wives, as it is a lot easier, and cheaper, to trade them in on a new model. Enjoy.
