Neutral light adjustment
All
I'm often finding myself hitting a false neutral in between first and second - usually if I change down from 2nd to first when almost stopped. Or could
it be possible I'm hitting the real neutral, but the neutral light isn't being triggered? Is it possible to adjust the neutral light switch? Could it be out
of adjustment thus the light isn't lighting up??

Its the switch mate. They all play tricks at some stage. Cheap to replace and some have had success unloading a can of contact cleaner onto them.
They pick up chain lube. Great design Suzuki!

So where is it? Under the plastic cover on the left side of the 'box?

Follow the line from the clutch to the slave cylinder under the plastic cover mate.
As for the neutral switch? Mine works so I've never been bothered to look

Switch is under the plastic cover over the drive sprocket, and bolts to the gearbox with 2 allen bolts. Pull it and contact clean it. The speed sensor is on the cover (1 allen bolt)

Found them both last night - too easy. Pulled and cleaned the switch, and flushed the clutch fluid - seems good sofar. Thanks!
