I like the tree lined roads QG. Nice shots of your bike too. How do you find the Air Hawk ?

I love my Airhawk, you can see by the colour of it it is my second bike with this one - but to be honest I am still struggling with the comfort set up on my bandit.. i am 6'3 and raised up the seat to get the legs comfy but now seem to have too much weight on my arms and hands.. so will try the seat back lower to see if there is any difference. I am coming of a trike that was ridden in 'recline' so its a change. I am also getting numb hands , especially the throttle, on a long ride so have ordered some foam grips to see if that helps.

I have this exact same problem which is caused by the ulna nerve in the palm of the hand and transmits to the forearm and shoulder. I've tried gel lined gloves and it made not difference for me so I think bar risers are in order. Would be interested in solutions.

Ever tried one of these? ebay link
I've had one on my bikes for over 2 years now and wouldn't be without it. It really does help to reduce cramping.
Be aware a mate bought another brand and hated it, the shape was all wrong and didn't fit the palm as well.

I have one of these, identical, but branded as a bark buster. I've found the roads here are not conducive to their use, either that or I need to get smaller hands/ gloves to clear the device. Yes great on a straight piece of road but I found I lost a little control when slipping my hand to the end of the bar to clear it...I like to ride the twisties and also ride close up in traffic. To date I've found leaning back relieves the numbness but would prefer a longer term solution.

Bark Buster? I thought they only made hand guards?
I think it comes down to getting the position on the grip right, not just up and down but distance from the end of the hand grip. It took me a little time to get it in just the right position.
I don't find it makes any difference in the twisties.

Yep I had a gen throttle rocker but lost it.. bought another that was advertised , throttle rocker, but was not.. seems ok so far but reserve my judgement... either way would not use it anywhere but on a long straight run.. highway stuff. Lowered my seat back down today.. see how that goes next ride
