Thats dissapointing .It must have been near "knock off " so they just tack welded this piece on my bike .I'm sure yours is welded all along (yeah right )
Then there is the rust .(09 model )

Nice job Gus - are you sure you can't make a quid just by assessing someone's bike and making recommendations? I'd give you $40 to go over mine (but the airfare to fly you down!!).

Looks good.. .I'll have to ride to QLD and get you to spray mine. How'd you go masking off everything else so you can spray it???

My frame is in bad need of a spray job as it is sand blasted to all hell. The welding on the bottom of the frame is absolute shit! I could do better with my eyes closed.

I sprayed the hole frame in about 20 mins ,Actually there is not that much . A towl here ,a rag there, a bit of tape on that, a slack attitude ,no tank
removal, and it was done .I sanded the frame with 220 grit first .Took about 3 min so it would stick .
The dark paint goes on back easy .If you miss a bit you dont notice it so you can be "rough as guts " (well i was )
I have the paint number if anyone wants it just ask .It is a bit lighter than stock But twice as nice ..A polished flat black is a better toutch up .
