Cheap levers
After living with my cheap "the 2 wheels" levers for 3 weeks i have to say i'm disappointed. I have Shorties (my mistake ) when ordering .
They seem sloppy and loose fitting to me ,as if the bolts arnt tight enough .I tried to take the "slop" out but no good .
The left lever has 1 to 6 adjustments but i want -1 so numbers 2-6 are useless to me .I take an XL glove , work that out .The RHS i like position 2
yet my hands are the same size .
The shorties trap my fingers both sides .
In the end i realized i only liked the black and silver look and nothing about the lever at all .
I ended up putting the original ones back on and painted them black and silver .
The adjustments are now much more realistic .A bad pic.

Re: Cheap levers
I first bought the shorties and hated them. I sold them to a mate and bought the standard length ones and love them. I think they feel great, they last well (unless you fall off vigorously):

Re: Cheap levers
You dont think the angle of the clutch lever in your pic looks strange compared to the hand grip ? Thats what i had a problem with ,i struggled to
reach it .That is a long reach and a long way to pull to the bars at a stop .Well i thought so .

Not at all. Very comfortable reach for me, and very adjustable

Re: Cheap levers
I had them on my bikes. Feel was great - finish looked awesome too............... for about 4 weeks. I got the standard length gold ones and now they are a platinum blonde colour - but only on the tops. Bike is always covered - never left in direct sunlight except when being ridden. Gone back to the standard ones.
Anyone want a pair of faded gold levers?
I suppose you could remove the anodising and just polish them natural aluminium?

Mine are black. The last set was on over a year, ridden daily in all weathers and I expected wear on the black finish but nothing. I use Turtlewax Ice polish on everything, and that may add some protection, but they wore well. I only replaced them after crashing. I don't park the bike outside for extended periods in the sun though
