Hi all
Yesterday my new Screaming Demon Exhaust turned up and i spent half of today installing it.

The exhaust i ordered was the SDR Stainless Steel to go on my GSX1250FA it looks fantastic but the only issue i have is that it sits a bit close to the swing arm, i found the instructions a bit vaige so i installed the strap the same as pictures on a previous post.

What i would like to know what clearance is practicle between the swing arm and exhaust at the moment i only have clearance of about 5 -10 mm maximum.

We'll need a pic I think.
Did it come with a link pipe? If so is it the same bend as the stocker? Could be for a different bike.

I've got a Yoshi, But. With my link pipe and Can. I can rotate the link pipe at back of the header a little and the Can move away from the wheel. then adjust Can and clamp to fit.
I don't know if u can do the same

Thanks guys for the info

After looking at it this morning it accured to me that i had mounted the exhaust on the inside of the bracket (bike side) when i should of mounted it on the out side of the bracket after doing this the exhaust still was to close to the swing arm so i removed the bolt and put the spacer that come with the kit between the bracket and the muffler clamp i can now fit my hand between the swing arm and the exhaust .

During this time i also loosened up the clamp that was surplied in the kit to attach the link pipe to the cat which was fine untill i tryed to tighten it backup and of course it broke so i need to now go to the muffler shop tomorrow to purchase a heavy duty exhaust clamp then hopefully i can take my bike for a ride next weekend.

Lucky for me it rained here all weekend as so i wouldn't of been able to test the exhaust out anyway ?? Evil or Very Mad
