Long ride today
This morning at 7am myself and my dad decided to go for a ride up the putty and back.
Turned into a 570km trip. Got to the top of the putty at 10:30, so decided to keep going.
Heading to denman for lunch. then just kept on riding and riding. some amazing roads.
Eventually got to lithgow. Back down bells line of road to home.
I forget most of the places we went though, ive never done the ride before.
It was one of the best rides ive done in a long time.
got home about 5pm.
We must put this ride on our to do list for sure.

Re: Long ride today
Thats the sort of ridding the Bandits love. An extra 2lt in the tank would be handy sometimes.
What does your Dad ride?

I love rides like that, you start out thinking a quick 200km would be fun, then 500-600km later you get home. That's what makes life worth living.
When we had money, my wife and I would just 'go for a ride'. We'd try roads that we'd only ever ridden past, found some great roads doing that, also found some really crap roads to.

Yep, the bike didnt complain. But an extra couple in the tank would be nice.

They are. love his CB.
Trying to convince him to buy a bandit as well, but no luck so far. He said he will take hid CB on one of our rides if he is welcome, so might just be a way to convince him

I did that ride as well a couple of weeks ago, only I didn't leave PITS until around 1130, then the heatwave struck, it must have been 41 in Denman. Came back over Bells at night and realised my headlight alignment is dreadfull.
Still had fun though.
