What is this connector for - it is under the seat of a 2008 1250 Bandit (red arrow points towards it)?

It's a special connection for reprogramming the flux capacitor so that the bandit has the ability to time warp.






No not really (but it'd be pretty cool if it was tho)
This connector is where you can hook up electronic tools that can reflash the ECU to change certain things in certain maps, usually fuel maps.

With the right software and a few tweeks to the wiring, there is the ability to reflash the entire ECU and mess with jsut about anything you want in that little black box of tricks
