Welcoming all GSX650 and 1250 owners to the forum
Users have made a quick response to the poll posted earlier this week.
It was asking if the site should now invite the new GSX 650 and 1250 models, due to them being based on the current bandit range.
It has been decided to incorporate the new range into this forum.
So i would like to welcome all future GSX650F and GSX1250F owners to the forum.

Hey, seeing as we're allowing GSX650F's and GSX1250F's, what about GSX750F's????

GSX750F wasn't/isn't a Katana as we know it. It was the big brother of the GSX600F. Although in the US the GSXF600F, GSX750F and GSX1100F were known as Katana's.

Hence why I left off the F.
Katanas are a GSX, be it a 750, 1000 or 1100.

True. My thinking was that given the Suzuki Bandits Australian forum includes the fuel injected, water filled, mutations ( ) then we may as well include the GSXF750, at least it doesn't have water in it.
Oh and the Katanas have already got a site or two.

I think the Katanas are too distant a relation.....and i used to have a GSX1100 - silver with spoked alloy wheels. i will see if i can out a pic of it on here

They certainly share the same basic engine design of the older non water cooled bandits.

Absolutely.
But I have to say that a bike of that calibre more than deserves it...
And PotMash, I reckon in a few years when the Bandit is a long time since production it will have as committed a fan base as the Katana (if it doesn't already), so I don't think they are that far distant.

I always wanted a Katana. Even my wife, who firmly believes that 4 cylinders is 2 too many, wouldn't mind having one in the garage.

I wanted an 1100 Katana as my first bike and growing up in the ACT it would have been perfectly legal.
My old man refused to let me get one, so I ended up with an RZ500 instead. Now that was a mad learner bike...

I have two in my collection at present; an 82 1100 & an 82 750, plus my "EFE" and The Bandit.
