Crap ,utter crap.
Have you ever liked an accessory or mod and then later thought " i hate it " ? .
I looked at my bike today a thought " Thats Crap ".What seemed a good idea last month now looks "pretty boy posey " or just serves no
purpose at all .
Plastic tank and rad. trim.= Plastic why add more of the stuff .
Silver mesh = Oh ,i'm just so pretty !
Black nylon hose mesh = looked o.k on the hose but ends frayed .
Fuel injection covers = The green injector is such a strange colour may as well show it . Who suggested GREEN .
Other covers = chain guard serves a purpose ,these dont .
There gone .Luckily not much expense in that lot .
Anyone else got any " mistakes " ( not your children )
What is good (to me )
Heated grips = a life saver when you get it horribly wrong .(the switch )
Fan Light = Use it like a temp guage (the light )
Removing secondaries = went from o.k to Whooooo
Nylon washer = gives you a positive gear change ( no slop)

I was going with this look ,but the unused bracket is a too distracting (this shot makes it look a bit cluttered )Painted the injector silver .

Hi Gus,
Where does the nylon washer go that smoothes out the gearchange?
And, er, what are "secondaries"? I'm guessing something to do with fuel injection 'cos my knowledge never got beyond carbs.

Re: Crap ,utter crap.
Put in "Devils Work " in the tiny (should be BIG ) search box ,that covers Secondaries .
Gear change lever still trying to find that. Basicly the gear change level has a lot of slop in it (well i think so ) Not only does it move up and down
(thats good ) but also moves sideways (thats bad ) If you take the spring type washer out and replace it with a anti friction nylon
type one it gets rid of the side ways movement .You may have to make the hole in the nylon washer bigger to get a snug fit (2 mins )
Put a drop of blue locktight on the bolt and tighten to desired tenson. Leave over night .
Much more 'connected ' feel and better gear changes .IMHO. Washer 50c
If you want pics just ask

I got mine from Repco i think .I took pivot pin in , they had too big or too small (hole ) So i took the smaller one and sanded (awkward ) the hole bigger.
Made of anti friction nylon or similar .You need to use locktight to get the pivot pin to stay at the right tension .Once set ,your right .
