Music While Your Riding.
First topic message reminder :
Interested to hear from anyone who listens to music while they ride. If you do, then what type do you listen to. An ipod is so easy to carry around or do you have some other way to entertain yourself ? I sorta hum a song sometimes but I hate it when the last song I heard on the radio sticks in my head and its one that I really hate but I cant stop humming it. I have a Tom Tom. But never listen to the voice directions or use the phone hook up function. Am interested in a bike to bike set up so that on rides i can talk to my GF on her bike. tell her to hurry up all the time.

Bhoffo was asked if he fancied a trip to lakes entrance "" you took the words right out of my mouth "" I`m outta here "" like a bat out of hell "" there`s no way I`m going to be "" all revved up and no place to go "" . Riding along he noticed his reflection if he leaned forward a bit in his spedo ; in his rev counter ; but not in his tank . ( "" two out of three ain`t bad "" ) "" for crying out loud "" look at that he said its like "" paradise by the dash light "" I`m having so much fun here "" heaven can wait "" I want to ride forever and listen to meat loaf all day .

Well done - VERY clever!! One of my favourite albums.. when I used to go to a local gym I'd take my Bat out of Hell album along and play it while I worked out..alot of motivating music in there!

Wind whistliing through my helmet works for me
Sends most riders deaf in no time, a combination of the noise and the wind pressure and is very bad in poor, poorly fitted and cheap helmets.
If you use in ear buds you can listen to music at a low volume and hear everything around you and never damage your hearing.
To test, put them on/in put IPod on at low volume and sit about 10 feet from the TV on low volume, you should be able to hear the TV and IPod and your wife abusing you all at the same time, to make this even better, use Gaffer tape over wife's mouth.
