Fish & Chips
G60 got me thinking. There always seems to be an opinion on where you can (and cannot) get a decent fish and chips these days. Are the culinery skills disappearing faster than [insert your own political commentary]? So where do you recommend? And is worth organising a ride just to get some decent F&C?
To kicj things off, I can recommend a small shop in a town called Rosedale in Victoria between Sale and Traralgon on the Princes Hwy. Bloody long way from Canberra, but 2WA might visit and verify my opinion. It's on the north side next to a small antigue shop).
PS: not owned by any relatives of mine!

Re: Fish & Chips
Gee where do I start with this one,
I've had fish and chip at many many places from Hobart to Darwin and a lot of places in between including catching the fish and fileting it on the beach next to the fire while someone makes the batter and cuts the chips then and there (can't get fresher than that).
Maybe we should organise a fact finding ride around the country, documenting our findings as we go (wonder if it will get picked up by ch9 or sumthing)

Only problem I see is the name of the ride - "The Great 'Eff' and 'C' Expedition" - I don't think the media are going to sign up!! (maybe SBS?!).
