A set of bar end mirrors would really finish it off

The radiator looks huge in the bottom pic.
They're not as obvious on the less manly S version apparently.

Looks good Gus

Quite a bit smaller than the originals. Need to move the elbow slightly to see behind.

Looks good Gus, now you just need to polish the engine side covers like DBs bike and I think the cylinder head cover would look good in crinkle black, like the old Toyota engines that had the "trick" Yamaha head.

Triple clamps were too awkward to get at ,but headlight pods were easy.

Have a rest Gus, put the paint can away and go for a ride.

That's a real nice nudie Bandit, Gus. Were your wheels black in the beginning? What paint did you use for the blackout bits etc?

Wheels where all black but the paint was thin on mine. Used those little Holts Matt (flat) back rattle cans $13 each. Spray on a sunny day or it
drys greyish.

Agreed .Link pipe is mild steel i had made up at muffler shop with a bend mark in it .I had to play around with length and angles to get it to fit
properly .Now i have that worked out i can use it as a template to get a s\steel one made up.In the meantime i thought black would be better
than a galvanised look. Nearist mandrel bender 200kls away and then another 200 to pick it up.

What are you worried about Gus? You can do that trip on 1 tank of fuel. Laughing

Very Happy Its in the centre of Briso. Not my favourite trip. There is a place close by that has a bender ,not as good as a mandrel but better than a
muffler shop.Well i have been told there is .
