The knob......
While the rest of you were doing something constructive ,i was busy inventing "The Knob". Consisting of two exotic materials ,a 1" piece of rubber
hose and a length of electrical tape. Strategically placed with great precision onto the side stand to stop that loud "BANG" ever time you flick
up the side stand. Yes ,you too need "THE KNOB " pat.pending 760984320bs gus.

I like my knob banging
Ok I have my serious face on now. If you hook it up and down with the heel of your boot it doesnt bang. Well mine doesnt anyway.

Re: The knob......
Your link pipe should have a knob on it for the center stand.
I push off and catch the front brake at the right time. Then manage the stand with my right foot.
Miss time sometimes so not a biggy.

Re: The knob......
I've gotten many knob jobs, but non involved rubber hose and electrical tape.

Gus,
Does your "KNOB" allow the side stand to swing up far enough to still activate the side stand switch?
This is just a suggestion for another approach to what you want to accomplish that would look a lot less inconspicuous, and that would be to glue a piece of 1/8" thick neoprene rubber onto the area of the side stand up near the pivot that contacts the stop surface on the frame.

Re: The knob......
A BIT less inconspicous Due to lack of sales and quality controll "the knob "has been regretfully widthdrawn from sale.
It has been replaced with "The Rubber " A piece of 10 by 10mm cycle inner tube glued to the contact patch on the side stand.

Re: The knob......
Flavours ???? Possibly glow in the dark. More visibility is always good. And lubrication is very important also.
Also can you manufacture them in different sizes (obviously all "members" here will require the larger fitting size) but still.
And what adhesive are you using. If that should slip off in the middle of a "ride" ............
