Trivia .....
First topic message reminder :
What does everone think about a TRIVIA thread
Stuff that maybe of no use to most people but really handy to the others. Maybe a good DVD ,something they have made, seen ,heard of ,
cooked ,been too .Minor things that do not really warrant a post of there own.(like most of my stuff ,there beat you to it )
Like taking a tractor tyre up north to float your Bandit across a river to a football selection ,the taste of beer ,who's state is
better at Rugby League. (may be not that) .Something that may make someone else say ,"why didnt i think of that".
Good idea or just post it on "off topic discussions " or not post it at all? (feeling vulnerable now )

25 years married
Today I celebrate 25 years happily married.
I remember my parents celebrating their 25th and then 50th, sadly Dad nevr made it to 60 but it gives me something to aim for.

Congrats to the Trucks. Hope you keep on trucking too.
Some of us fall well short of that milestone and I respect and admire those who can make it work.

That's not trivial, that's several consecutive life sentences in NSW

Just googled 30 wedding anniversary and according to Gilletts Jewellers site, Pearl is the traditional gift and Diamond is modern.

Re: Trivia .....
I am very disappointed in people who buy worthless presents like jewellery.
I bought an arc welder and Triton saw bench for our 20th.
I think our 25th was celebrated with an assortment of power tools.
It just keeps getting better
I did actually forget our anniversary once. Seeing her disappointment I went out the following morning and bought her a cordless drill (with 2 batteries) WOW!!

Re: Trivia .....
T-shirts have gone to the dogs . Most are so thin one wash and they look like a rag .Sizes are all over the place ,necks tight or loose .
Designs are for 12 year olds ,Old guys DONT rule ,American Indians are NOT all wise , wolves do not live in Australia ,there is NO surf in Alice Springs,
not everyone WANTS black ,no t-shirt is worth $50 , no POO SHOOTER mambo T should ever be worn AND if your a personal trainer (isn't every second person ) don't have " TRAINER " on the back of your shirt you fucking wanker .

Thanks Paul for your understanding
Actually, I think I am facing a dilemma this year. I can't think of any tools she hasn't got. Maybe some are a bit old and need replacing.
I would never buy my better half any thing like an ironing board, that is just so rude.
I know this is a crazy thing to say here but if anyone would like to make any suggestions, I think I could do with a bit of help.

I couldn't agree more Gus.
I'm sure I take a size 9 shoe but I recently bought a pair of sneakers, size 12, which just fitted nicely. They were also a nice green colour. I've never worn green sneakers before.
When I used to go to "motorcycle functions" I always came home with a T shirt.
I used to buy a 4XL or 5XL so SWMBO could wear them as an oversized nightie. At the time of purchase I used to get some funny looks until I explained they would be a perfect fit for the wife. Keep 'em guessing eh!

How about one of those hand held massage machines so her fingers don't get sore when she is massaging your back

Re: Trivia .....
Hey Gus,
You've got to be proud of me. I left the Givi on the bike when I traded it. I reckon I was carting around 20 litres of very useless crap over the last 5 years and don't recall using any of it. It included a set of good spanners which I thought I had lost but, here they are.
I have unzipped the magnetic base from my tank bag and should I ever need to use it two occy straps will hold it on the back seat nicely (and no scratched tank)
No more big luggage for me
