First topic message reminder :

What does everone think about a TRIVIA thread

Stuff that maybe of no use to most people but really handy to the others. Maybe a good DVD ,something they have made,seen ,heard of ,
cooked ,been too .Minor things that do not really warrant a post of there own.(like most of my stuff ,there beat you to it )
Like taking a tractor tyre up north to float your Bandit across a river to a football selection ,the taste of beer ,who's state is
better at Rugby League. (may be not that) .Something that may make someone else say ,"why didnt i think of that".

Good idea or just post it on "off topic discussions " or not post it at all? (feeling vulnerable now )

Cameron has gone on a cruise & left addressed envelopes for his mum to post them out when they arrive . He said any day now.

We will probably see Cam on TV when he is escorted off the Cruise ship for causing a disturbance on the dance floor. ps. Calanders should be now cheaper, as they only need TEN months.

I was stop and slowing yesterday (that just is not right ) Stop and going on a dirt road which carries bugger all traffic .To my surprise a lone
black 1200 bandit turns up .As there was a huge tree across the road we had a chat .Said he new about the forum so i wonder if he logged (pun ) on

$20 to get into the Gold Coast bike show .
Isnt that like paying to watch nothing but advertisments on tv ? They should be paying us to go .We may get excited and buy something .
No i didnt go ,i walked into a bike shop for nothing .Quess what ,i bought a pair or new leather pants .

Now at a show you have to PAY to buy something.

Fully agree with you Gus. Did not go to the Sydney one last year for this reason. Can walk into a bike shop and look at new bikes or look at them on the net.

Never thought of it that way , but yep your right , we`re paying to look at their promos.

Tip .
You know those 3 legged halogen lights you buy from Super Cheap, about $35 i think .Not only do they light up a work area but also give off a bit of heat so you can spray paint ,then move the light close to dry the area . Great when its damp or raining which seems most of the time .

yeah they`re great / I`ve got one with the two lights on it . Just don`t look at the lights when there on

I agree Gus. Remember when show bags were called sample bags and were free? And don't get me started on companies charging $60 for a t-shirt with their logos splashed all over it so you are a walking billboard. They should be paying you to wear it.

Students in an advanced Biology class were taking their mid-term exam.

The last question was, 'Name seven advantages of Mother's Milk', worth 70 points or none at all.

One student, in particular, was hard put to think of seven advantages. He wrote:

1) It is perfect formula for the child.
2) It provides immunity against several diseases.
3) It is always the right temperature.
4) It is inexpensive.
5) It bonds the child to mother, and vice versa.
6) It is always available as needed.

And then the student was stuck. Finally, in desperation, just before the bell rang indicating the end of the test, he wrote:

7) It comes in two attractive containers....and the cat can't get it.

He got an A.
