Hi,
The names Pete, from Perth WA.
Just bought a 1250FA.
Previous bikes include MT01, R1, CB1300S.GSX1400, ZX12,FJR1300, FZ1 and a few more, over the years.
Ride every weekend with a group of like minded guys.
Anybody interested joining in , send me a message.
Two things Iwant to know,
Does the 2008 Bandit slip on ,fit my 2010 FA.
How do I get rid of the buzzing noise from the instrument pod.
at 3000rpm.
Thanks Guys.

G'day Pete. I see you like large capacity bikes Smile I have lusted after a MT01 since their release. I'm aware of the limitations. Just one of those bikes I want. Can't help with the buzzing but the dash comes out so see iff some padding is missing. The slip-on fits as far as I know.

Oh and welcome!

Welcome Pete - nice alumni of bikes you've got there. Beats mine hands down:

Yamaha AT125
Honda CB350 Four
Honda XL500
Yamaha XS750 triple
Honda XL185s (which I still have)
VZ 800 M50 Boulevard
Bandit 1250s

That'll probably get everyone started!!

Welcome fellow FA rider. Very Happy
There's a decent write up (for the FA) in the latest Australian Road Rider magazine.

Hi All,
Removed the dash today and found nothing that could cause that annoying rev related buzzing.
All the 4 cylinder bikes I have had, have a vibe point around 3000 rpm, but on a naked its not so apparant.
On a faired bike its usually the screen that buzzes, but in this case its the instrument pod.
Not sure what to do now., the dealers no help, they say its not a known problem,
Go and fix it and tell us what you did.
Any help would be appreciated.
Pete.
