I hope 2023 brings everything that you hope for, for me, I'm hoping to further develop a relationship that began around 12 months ago, that alone made the other trials of 2022 seem far less painfull.

I took the long walk in Feb, thinking that's it, no more, be single - much to my surprise getting involved with a lady who has been riding most of her life.

Happy new year

A very happy 2023 to you all. 

You speak of relationships and the like. I got marriaged on my 60th birthday, 5 years ago. Every year, late January, we go away for my birthday cum our anniversary. She doesn't ride, so we sometimes do the I-ride-you-fly thing, though this time it will be a car trip. 

BUT...

wait 'til you read about the trip I'll be doing in Aug/Sep! The Kalahari Desert gets a brief spray of rain at the end of winter and becomes 10 days of horizon-to-horizon flowers - watch RIDE REPORTS!

Well today was the day. 

Yesterday I rode to Warrnambool from Adelaide,  my lovely lady caught the train there from Melbourne. 

Today was her first day on a bike for 25+ years,  and the first time on a bike bigger than 250cc

Her impressions/comments 
- I'm so happy 
- This is the  most comfy bike seat I've been on
- loved it
