Well got bored today so started to strip the front fairings off ready for the naked conversion .

I've had a go at removing my fairing to tighten my screen and have my speedo screen "defogged" before I realized I was in too deep and I put it all back together again.

I love this page. It makes me feel so . . . . .  .  adequate Very Happy

Wish I had that much room in my shed. Just bought another Gen 1, 1200, with the arse cut off...aka Cafe Racer...doh.  Embarassed Sight unseen, supposedly 50,000 kms. Original black Tupperware all good tho'.

Finally got a few parts I have been waiting on. Here are some updated pics.
Just need to make brackets up to mount the instruments and she will be back on the road.

Instruments will help 👍
Wire mesh stone protecter 😀
May need to raise or lower indicators as glare from headlight may make them hard to see, particularly at night. 👍

With the mesh headlights it will remind me of a scrambler or something from the 70 / 80s - 2 thumbs up from me. 
Are you hoing to do anything with the rear end? 
Only suggestion I can make is to paint the radiator guard so it's not so in your face.

Yep might do a tail tidy and straight bars in the near future. Hopefully have the instruments mounted this week if work isn't too crazy.
