Pod filters Empty Pod filters

Post  Knighty92 Sat 30 Mar 2019, 10:43 am

Hi chaps,
I’m new on here, and purchased my first bike - gsf 250v. I bought some pod filters and put them on last night and it went real boggy. I’ve now done some research and a rejet is in order. Just want to know if anyone can point me in the right direction with getting a kit, any alternatives or problems/solutions etc. I’m mechanically minded, changed the chain and given it a full service already. Also anywhere I could get a bigger exhaust manifold too so I could do intake, jets and exhaust in one go.
Many thanks
Sam - Melbourne

Luckily pod filters are cheap ,so will not be disappointed when I tell you to throw them in the bin ,and refit proper filter .
For a road bike they are rubbish . Fit a pipe if you must but that's all . The louder it is ,the more power you have LOST .. Slapping on a shorty is nearly as bad as pods . Sorry but its true .
