Peterborough overnighter April 16/17th

Paul and I are heading off on another over night ride with my mate Graeme who was also at the recent SA catch up, all welcolme to join us if they want to.

We've crammed a fair bit in with not much time to spare on the 1st day, that's why the early start.

This is what we've got so far



Tuesday 16/04/19,

- Meet my pace near Airport here about 6:30am

- 6:45 Leave  to Booleroo Centre

- Lunch size morning tea in Laura or Stone Hut to see us through to 2 - 3:00 ish

- 10:30 @Booleroo Steam & Traction Preservation Society (3 hrs from Adelaide), allow 3 hrs for display, $10 pp (It's opened up for bookings only)

- To Peterborough (approx 1 hr 20 minutes)

- Steamtown Heritage Rail Centre day tour ($17 or $30 combined with Sound & Light Tour), doing last day tour of the day

-Accommodation at Peterborough Hotel $130 for 3 ($150 if we get a 4th) in a 4 berth room (1 double, 3 singles)

At the moment we have 3 booked into that room (the only one like it and it's ground floor), 1 more will fit or book your own room there or anywhere else in town you want

- 6:00 tea and then walk to Steamtown for the   7:30 Sound and Light Tour ($20 or $30 combined with day tour),

Wednesday 17/04/19,

-9:00 Peterborough Motorcycle Museum

-10:00ish travel back which ever way we feel like on the day

2 days out and it looks like it's just paul and I. 

Graeme had to pull out because his backup on the farm he manages decided at the last minute he couldn't keep a eye on the sheep during lambing for 48 hour and there's been no other taker.

Tuesday looks like it'll be a gem of a day, mid to high 20's, Wednesday is a bit iffy at the moment, forecast is for possible afternoon and evening thunderstorms, oh well, if it happens perhaps we could just check into the nearest pub for another night
