Old 2 story pub in a former major railway town.
Friendly owners, he's a dirt/adventure bike rider and has been trying to get development approval for a dedicated motor bike lock up shed for months, keeps hitting bureaucratic red tape.
We stayed in a twin pub room up stairs, fairly big, clean, comfy beds, I reckon with just a fan it could get pretty hot in summer. $60 p/n
We were originally booked into a down stairs 2 room plus en suite with lounge and double bed in 1 room, 3 singles in the other. $130 p/n for 1, 2 or 3, + a extra $20 per person over 3, when Graeme pulled out we switched to a twin.
The pub kitchen has been leased out along with a street front room off of the kitchen which is a cafe. It's open from 8:00am to 9:00pm daily and does take away, eat in cafe, Pub dining room and Pub front bar meals
Nothing fancy but clean, the staff are friendly and there is plenty to see and do in town.
