Re: Changes to photobucket
If you come across a picture which is blocked you want to see ,give this a try ........... I tried & it worked sometimes .
"Quote " For users who are affected by this, it is important to note that the images are not gone. They are still hosted on Photobucket, and you can actually load them right then and there by right-clicking on them and selecting "open image in new tab" or "open link in new tab" depending on the web browser that you are using. This opens the Photobucket website where the original image is displayed. " Quote "

I've justr recieved this email, I had a look on Tinypic and down the bottom it now says " © 2004-2018 TinyPic®, a Photobucket Video & Photo Sharing Company "

Re: Changes to photobucket
I tried switching over to tinypic before Christmas. They wouldn't accept my email address as real.
Glad I didn't persist with it then.
So where to now?

Re: Changes to photobucket
$99.99 ( LOL .....$ 100 ) a year for the odd forum posting seems pretty rich ................ ( the high fee is probably allowing for all the users who will tell them to jam it where the sun don't shine )Chook wrote:I missed that post back in July paul, yep, they did it all right!!paul wrote:Lets hope they don't do the same to tinypic...................Chook wrote:I tried photo bucket after the PI National Meet in 2016, since then I've gone back to using yinypic

Re: Changes to photobucket
The worae thing is that any embedsed photo bucket picks in old posts get lost. There's a couple of good how to threads that are reliant on Bucket on a few forums that now have the default ransom message. My Servimg.com is still ok, but not sure if they are taking new users.

It doesn't look as thought they are. If you go to their home page there is nowhere to create a new account.

Re: Changes to photobucket
I use servimg , ( part of the owners of this forum , but it will work on other forums as well) type in how to post a photo in the search box for info about posting photos on here . But there are other photo hosting sites available
