ANY RIDE DAYS COMING UP
Rode over about 3 years ago on the bandit and also about 12 years ago on my pushie, its the best ride for scenery, meeting people and just having lots of think time, 4120ks from Forster to Hillarys on the coast via Broken Hill, Port Augusta etc, lived over there for 4 years back in the late 90s, youll enjoy it, make sure you go down to Esperance and around the bottom and up through Margret River to Perth and back through Kalgoolie, the Nullabor is such an interesting place, just make sure you stick to daylight hours while riding, lots of things to hit on dusk

I plan on doing the WA ride sometime in the future. At this stage I'm not sure when.
Have done the trip several times by car. The Nullabor is an interesting and boring place. You'd need to plan your fuel stops and stick to them, the next servo could be 100ks further on. One time going over there, we stayed at Madura roadhouse for the night. Leaving at dawn the next day the road was littered with carcasses of dead roos. There was still some live ones hanging around, standing in the middle and hopping alongside the road. Be wary at dawn and dusk and don't drive or ride at night unless you have a truck bullbar attached to the front of your bike

I want to do Perth one day (so does my daughter), I also want to do Darwin so my plan was to do Adelaide-Perth-Darwin-Adelaide when I can fit it in

Leave early on a Saturday morning. You should be home for dinner.

You'll miss some of the best parts of western Australia if you do that. If anyone comes over sing out and I'll try and show you some of the scenery. The south west of WA had some nice riding spots

I toured around WA back in '79 in a HT panel van. Some truly beautiful places. Both north and south.

Agreed, I have family down the south west, some awesome roads and scenery around Walpole, Albany area. Unfortunately I've only ever driven on them, I want to ride them.

Just past Walpole and Peaceful bay you'll also find Bandit road. Definitely worth a photo of you are on the bike. If you head up the road there's a crazy dinosaur park as well.
