Tuono (03)
Not mine but I did look at it the other day .It was mint with full service history (45,000kls )Aprilia race can and chip .
It COULD work like this
Someone buys it for $5000 (advertised Gumtree $5200 ) Remember its PERFECT and in Brisbane .
They pay me $50 fuel ,and I pick it up in my ute and return it to my place (250kls -+)
When time is right,
they fly up to Sunshine Coast and I pick them up from the airport .They stay overnight at my place and we drink beer and look at it .
Their new Tuono has my spare Ventura rack fitted so they can ride it home with gear.
I join them for the first day 600kl_+ when we depart company .
Ps Its more red than orange

Re: Tuono (03)
That's a sweet looking bike Gus.
A good offer too.
Do you reckon the price is right or is it a good deal?

Re: Tuono (03)
Its a great deal . I bought off him an Ohlins shock for my Tuono .Has rear cowl ,link pipe mod.New p/r 4's
If I didn't already have one I would have bought it .(if I had a spare 5) Mature owner who also has a Hornet and
racebike (250 single something )
Tuono's like the open road and are hard work in the city.If you test ride one around the block you'll hate it .Seating position is VERY Bandit like, but a little less leg room . Seat is way better on the Tuono though .Finish is something Suzuki dream about .Power about 120 hp but weight is beautifully light 180.
See ,its actually red .

It's a nice bike mate.
I'm loving my Firestorm and it's huge mid range that goes all the way to 10k. If I didn't have this Storm I'd be very tempted.

Re: Tuono (03)
I opened this because I thought you were selling yours Gus - not that I have the money anyway
One of the many reasons I love my Bandit is the low cost of maintenance compared to other bikes I desire. I do oil the oil and filter changes so my bandit has not been to a proper mechanic for 2-3 yrs.
How do these bikes compare in the maintenance dept?

Re: Tuono (03)
A valve check is easier due to the fact I could never get the Bandits cover off or on without getting pissed off .
In 80,000 kls none have been changed ,like the Bandit .
No need for a dealer service ,in fact don't .
Manual says replace fork seal every 15,000 kls . Mine have done 80,000 kls .
Get a good one and you wont have a problem .Get a neglected one and you will ,probably electrical .
The owner of above bike is an electrician so sorted it all (fit a Yamaha s\relay , 2 better connecters )
Remember these bikes are now 12 years old . If its had 8 owners i'd worry .
I bought mine new ,this one's had one previous owner who kept it stock . This owner is 60 yo .
