Gus in previous posts you mentioned your Tuono. I have never owned a V twin and I would like to rectify this. There is a 2006 Tuono R for sale with; 30,0007Km, Akrapovic exhaust (not sure if 2 or 1 fitted), 4 months rego a very clean bike asking $9000 ride away from a dealer. I was hoping to take it for a test dide either tomorrow or Tuesday

Questions
Is this a fair price
Are there any common faults with this model
What things should I look out for
What is the difference, if any, between the Tuono and the Tuono R

If possible could I phone you to discuss. If agreeable can you send me a pm with your contact number.

I would appreciate your input.

cheers

george

THey are all the model after mine . Good, but maybe not as good as the 03-05 model .You know the story ,the first model is the collectable one .
THe one with akra pipes is the pic as there is no point in having a V-twin without the sound .($1500 bucks there )At a guess that is Tony Armstrong 's dealership which
has a good rep . AS usuall about $1000 over priced but its a dealer .Your test ride around town you may hate it . They like the open road .
Not being able to find neutral for the first 15 mins is normal , forget about a pillion . Should start first press ,no spin back with a clunk .
Nice 04 model for $7000 but near Canberra .
Did you get my Phone number 30,000 kls is just run in .
