Phillip Island WSBKs (2016 National Meet)

First topic message reminder :

Who's planning on doing the WSBK's in February, and who is interested in getting a house on the island?

There are plenty of options but we'd need to know who wants to join in to get a idea of what size place we'd need?

Grabbed a bottle of the cab Sav. Will report back with a good or bad verdict

Well I drank 1 x bottle of Shiraz. Not worth $19 per bottle IMHO and I'm not sure I'd even go back for more at $13 per bottle.

So there is a new program format in WSBK for 2016.

Instead of two races on Sunday for the premier class, Race 1 will be at 3 pm Saturday  and Race 2 will be 3pm Sunday.

That would be to encourage you to pay more & you so can't  buy a one day pass for the  sunday to see the main event .

That is harsh, cynical................................................and accurate.

Mind you.  It could also mean that we get more races over the two days instead of just one.

Just a big public thank you to Dave and Terry for organising all the accommodation for the trip down. We might need a holiday by the time we make it to PI  .

ps.  Don't forget to bring a couple of packs of cards.
