Anyone up for a ride next weekend?

Is there anyone up for a ride Sat 3rd or Sun 4th? 

I'm not fussed by location but most others on from SA here seem to live South of the city so it's probably easier

I'm busy Saturday ( it's going to be over 40 degrees anyway ) but Sunday should be ok with me ( 26 deg. and chance of showers if you're still keen LOL )

I'd probably prefer to do a early Sat ride and get home before the worst of the heat but if no 
one can do that I'm not fussed by a bit of water

I'm going for some brownie points & taking the missus out Saturday

I'll keep Sunday free if you like, as long as it's only a few showers and not a torrential summer thunderstorm I'd still go, the bike needs a proper clean anyway

Sunday morning is fine with me , Guess we'll see who else chimes in ..............any idea where you want to meet & go ?

I hadn't really thought about where, I'm happy to head down South and meet you down your way somewhere unless you want to go somewhere different
 I just checked the forecast, 42 Friday, 41 Saturday and Sunday 26 with morning showers, Saturday would have been too hot anyway

The forecast has changed a bit now, 41 and showers/possible thunderstorms on Saturday, Sunday clear, 29 degrees, perfect riding weather.

If anyone else wants to join us, I'm meeting Paul at Junk Food corner, Reynella at 9:00 on Sunday, no definite direction planned, we'll see where the day takes us

yep , his shoulder , not the bike LOL . Sue is working , so I will dodge any kidney bruises 

like to join up but need to head up to The Garage to attend to insurance details for Phillip Island this month.  So if you guys are out and about that way I will join up possibly  .

I assume you mean the Garage in Strathalbyn xpalan?

We dont have anything set in concrete as to where we are going, what time are you planning on being there? 

If everyone else is happy to drop into Strath I'm happy with that?

I will be at The Garage in Strathalbyn approx. 10.30am to sort out some stuff and should be ready to ride by approx. 11am .

Yep , it was a great day, I travelled the least ( left from just near my place ) & did a comfortable 185km , with chook & his fantastic daughter , rayman & two of my sons . We just missed xpalan & co. at Strath by 5 minutes unfortunately.Hahndorof  was the closest to the fire area we got & from there we went south to Goolwa via Strath.

The weather turned nice for us, it actually got a bit chilly heading from Reynella across to Hahndorf, the rest of the ride it was perfect. 

Sorry we missed you xpalan, not by very much by the sounds of it.

It was great to finally meet a few local forum members (SuzySuzuki was the only member I'd met face to face before today)
It's a small world, Rayman06 lives literally 1 suburb from me. knows 2 of my daughters dance friends and his son is a muso (as is mine) in a band that my son knows a couple of the other members in and loves to watch live
