Hi Everyone,

Been the proud owner of a 2010 naked Bandit for a couple of months now and been hangin' around in the forum and reading all the great info about the mighty Bandit and the plethora of useful mods to improve the bike. As such. I thought it would be great to introduce myself and become a bit more involved in the forum.

My bike is a 2010 Naked Bandit ABS Silver. The only mod thus far has been the addition of a Akrapovic carbon look can which may explain the popping on decal at the moment but still sounds awesome though. Using the search feature I discovered that this can be easily fixed by blocking up the PAIR hole in the airbox, which I plan to do shortly. It also sports a GIVI topbox which is incredibly handy, even though it sorta spoils the lines of the bike somewhat......

In the near future I plan on tackling other mods like airbox mod, K&N filter, checking TPS position and eventually TB sync - all of which is now possible thanks to the info provided on this forum. Unfortunately, the more I read the more I want to mod but I will just have to go slow due to funds available - or lack thereof haha.

Hi Ewok, Fortunately it came with the bike when I bought it. Sounds pretty good as it has no insert fitted so does amplify the decal pops as you can imagine. Laughing

Hi Kiwisteve, Thanks for the warm welcome.
You know, I haven't seen to many Bandits at all to be honest and since owning one I am always on the look out. Perhaps I'm not getting out as much as I should haha. But I do the central coast to Sydney commute to work most days but I leave so early I don't really see any bikes on the road period.

Hi Spike, there is white lettering on white background in that part of the profile (well we didn't say we were the smartest board going Laughing

)

The easiest way to see it is just highlight the area with your mouse, then type in the info into the appropriate sections.

I'll look into "fixing" that. I'm sure Cam did too and the easiest way was to change the whole colour scheme which might not go down well here.
