Hi All,

My name is Michael, I have owned a 09 1250 SA for about 6 months now. I have upgraded from a Suzuki GR650.
There are some small differences like EFI and POWER! I can also now have a pillion with noticing Smile

I am very happy with the bike and since its purchase have put on a Yoshimura slip-on muffler, a Givi 46L box on the back and a new touring screen.
I was really happy when a couple of months later my best mate purchased one as well Smile

I am looking forward to learning a few more things about the bike as well as hopefully meeting a few more keen riders in the future.

A bunch from SA are heading to Parkes for our annual get together.

Hi Michael, welcome to the forum, some of the East Coasters will really start to think we are getting ready for a Southern takeover now.
Which part of SA are you from? I'm from the Western Suburbs, as is Rayman06, there's a whole heap south of Seaview Rd and a few Country/Hills as well.
Send me a PM if you're up for the Parkes trip (it is short notice I know) and I'll pass on all the details. There is 3 of us (2 bikes) leaving from here 6:00am Thursday morning.

Hi Michael, welcome to the forum. I'm one of the quieter members, but you can see by the replies its a friendly place. Lots of good info/knowledge too.

About to head out for stage 2 of my back tune up for the trip, then coffee with Rayman06. After that we're off to GC Motorcycles so I can get a new front tyre while he get a new pair ready for the trip.
After more than 2 years of only taking leave to work on the house and 3 years since my last big trip on the bike (and last real holiday) I'm feeling like a kid waiting for Xmas atm...............................only 3 sleeps 'till we leave Smile
