Another tragic loss

Sad news today to hear Robin Williams took his own life . Depression can strike us all , keep well people .

Very sad that a man so smart and gifted was not able to see a light anywhere in his darkness.

Agreed Paul. it is a terrible loss. It seems many people have been really moved by his suicide. It is sobering to think that behind his machine-gun rate of comedy delivery, there lurked the dark spectre of depression.

It is a bugger of a coincidence that a good number of riders are taking part in the Black Dog Ride around Australia at the moment raising awareness of Depression/Suicide. They are also raising money for charities who assist in the fight against these two problems.

It is certainly sad. Once my son is a touch older I hope that I can instill in him that he can talk to his mum or I about anything including feeling really sad.
