Hi, My name is Les, I live in Newcastle NSW. I purchased a 2007 GSF1250S K8 twelve months ago. Love the bike and this site. Unfortunately because of illness I have only been able to do just over 2000klm since buying the bike. Hasn't worked out the way I planned, so I am going to list it for sale

So unfortunately by the sounds of it Les, it's welcome and farewell at the same time. Sorry to hear things didn't pan out for you and all the best in the future, whatever it may hold.

Welcome Les. Are you sure you have to sell? Tell the missus it's not worth much. Although big they're easy to ride.
Your choice obviously.
Good luck.

Welcome Les,
Yep, you're right, this site is pretty good! I have been a member for only a little time, but the info and cameraderie is good. It is a pity you have to sell the bike, particularly for the reason you have described. There are a few members, me included, who either live in Newcastle or fairly close by. I have been crook myself and away from bikes for a long time. Riding my recently purchased Bandit has been therapy for me. Its a pity the bike can't be the same for you.
Like others, I wish you the best of luck in the future.
Cheers,
Graham
