The best part about that is Yamaha would follow and that would be a far better bike

Shouldn't be Jim. R1 & Gixxer are similarly priced.Jimcoleman wrote:At about 5k more

Seen them in Moto GP lately ? I think Suzuki has totally lost the plot. Sad.

Don't expect that it will be replacing the Bandit though; you'd have to assume it would be significantly more expensive based on the quality of the bits.

I see the new (ish ) grey dated single Suzuki now has knee pads on the tank .
A decal , in the shape of a knee pad .It gets worse , its got imitation pin lines on the imitation carbon on the imitation knee pad .
Oh ,a plastic S on the tank as well .
TOP CLASS STUFF.

what is wrong with Suzuki, I read on some bike review site that Suzuki is the slowest of the Japanese brands to release new models.gus wrote:I see the new (ish ) grey dated single Suzuki now has knee pads on the tank .

I can't see the missus being too fond of the pillion seat on that if it's supposed to be a replacement for what the Bandit does .

Re: Bandit replacement - GSR1000
Pretty soon the saying will be .
Rather my daughter in a brothel ,than my son on a Suzuki .
That enough Suzuki bashing from me (I still own 2 and would love a TLr ) but seriously the build quality has gone down hill ,and designs with it along with
other manufactures .
Someone must (and will ) get the future right , I just hope its Suzuki .Shit its cold .
Why has the front fender on above bike been fitted backwards ?

Then again it could be worse .
If you want a good laugh ,go to HONDA 's web site .
An example of a nurd on mushies in the design room . Who said " I like it " to this .

I liked this quote from the sales blurb, never thought that having a small tank was an advantage until now:
"The 13.3-litre INAZUMA fuel tank is ideal for less time at the pump"

That is a seriously modified TL. Looks like a Harris frame or similar.
Perhaps that is Suzuki's new ethos. People always modify their bikes, so put out a cheap and nasty and let the customer do all the hard work.

Re: Bandit replacement - GSR1000
That is a seriously modded TL Bosco. But having owned 2 of them I can safely say the engineering, fit and finish on them is far superior to the Bandit. I know the Bandits were made to a budget so everyone could afford one but what happened to Suzuki being innovators and making exciting bikes like the TL. Its a shame their design dept are back engineering bikes from the 80's. Yamaha are streets ahead in nearly every way and I hate saying that as I've always been a Suzuki man. I guess they put all their effort into the GSXR range. You shouldn't have to buy a bike off the shelf and then spend $1000's modifying it. I guess thats why you pay more for the Gixxers as they are a weapon straight out of the box, no need to do anything to them, not even a can.
